    So easy, so accurate!

Easy and accurate. What else do you want? Portable! Right! It’s that too! This thing is so easy to use it’s ridiculous. Did the math as well and it pays for itself in a little over a year and a half. We had a line out of our hotel room door at our tournament this past weekend of our players and their siblings wanting to get a fresh sharpen. Great product all around!

Really solid product. Does a great job, and feels awesome to have the exact same feel on the blades every single game. Learned a lot about blades as part of getting this, too. I have this plugged in to the back of my truck at nearly every pre-game tailgate :)

The company is so good and helpful as well. Everyone - including myself - who's purchased a sharpener has noticed that the come with perfect alignment out of the box. I had questions and the handle on the skate holder broke (my own fault); a quick text chat with them and my questions were answered and a new handle arrived in the mailbox mere days later.

You won't regret buying it, just push the checkout button now.

Perfect Sharpen Out of the Box

Not only is the machine calibrated right out of the box, the step-by-step instructions, if read carefully, all but ensure a perfect sharpen - regardless of your experience with skates or skate sharpening. I give my skates a couple of passes every week because it’s so quick and easy once you’ve done it a couple of times. The Sparx 3 is a tremendous investment that I cannot recommend enough.

    Works as advertised

Super easy and great results. One quirk with the Beam edge checker is that it malfunctions in bright sunlight so sharpening from a truck tailgate can be tricky. Park in some shade or find another way to lower ambient light.

    Outstanding Quality & Convenience

I held off for a while though other friends and even my local rink got a Sparx Sharpener (v1 or v2), but once the v3 came out & the price dropped on v2, I couldn't hold off any longer. The v2 is easy to setup (thanks to online videos to show how it's done) and so convenient! I no longer have to wait until my edges are so dull - usually during a game - that I have to take them for a sharpening immediately... I can do a quick 2-pass every other week & know I'll have good edges on my game skates and every few weeks on my coaching skates. With both my kids also playing hockey, the sharpener is bound to eventually pay for itself - especially with costs at local rinks going up (and most of those are using a Sparx anyway). I plan to take along for tournaments in case my kid's teammates might also need a touch-up & the whole team will be good-to go!
