I love how I can check the edges after each sharpening. I also like to use the BEAM to make sure my edges are still good after a couple of session on the ice.

One thing I do wish is instead of a screw to clap onto the blade, it would be nice to have a pressure clap so I can slide the BEAM on different spots of the blade.

I love this tool. It's a total game changer for the Sparx sharpening machines. It's an alignment tool for both the right and left edges. Even though I have the manual one from Sparx, this is now my main tool. It connects with my Sparx app for detailed sharpening after using the grinding wheel. It's truly a valuable tool. At one point, I thought I had lost it and was about to buy a replacement immediately. It's definitely worth the investment.

The Beam makes sharpening multiple pairs of skates, especially if they are new to your sharpener, quick and simple aiding in making adjustments on the sharpener ensuring a level cut.
