The Sparx Skate Blade Lifts were designed to assist users in sharpening higher on the toe of their skate blades and decrease the "transition area" where the Sparx Grinding Ring comes into contact with the skate steel. 

This product was initially used by top NHL Equipment Managers and is now accessible to all Sparx Sharpener owners. Just insert two Skate Lifts into your Sparx Sharpener and sharpen as usual.

The Skate Blade Lift Kit includes 3 Sparx Skate Blade Lifts and instructions for proper use.

    Skate Blade Lifts

    I really like using the lifts when sharpening. While I realize the edge created on the toe with the traditional sharpening does not affect skating, I appreciate the opportunity to use the lifts and eliminate it.

    Wish I had bought the Sparx sooner.

    Sparx sharpener , blade lifts, and the 3/4 FIRE ring works very well for me . I would encourage everyone to experiment with different hollows.
